I am not a huge fan of street photography; I don’t have any issue with the genre particularly; I am not just comfortable in clicking unknown people’s faces without their consent as well as I do not want to be in someone’s photographs when I am happily walking on a busy street minding my own business.
But I do understand that some photographers love it- it’s a beautiful visual art; and clicking a person when he/she is not posing for the camera is one of the best ways to capture human condition and emotions.
True.
For me though street photography is all about capturing the mood of a street; the change of its life with the change of daylight: the liveliness when it’s crowded and loneliness when the world is silent. Since I avoid capturing people, it becomes wearisome at times. But I know no other way to do it right.

Nice Ones…Last time is the best..:):)
Thank you, Amit. 🙂
I agree with you about being uncomfortable capturing others’ faces. I try to avoid the full face shots or else I try to blur them for the same reason. Still, I think you captured the challenge beautifully.
I am so glad to know you avoid those shots too, though capturing raw emotion is one part of street photography. 🙂 Thank you for the visit and your words, D.S. 🙂
For someone who isnt a fan of street photography you really take some amazing shots LOL
Thank you. 🙂 The thought of clicking unknown people without their permission makes me uncomfortable. And whats there in street photography without people in it! But I am so happy to read that you found these pictures amazing. 🙂
My pictures were people less sometimes the street is good enough 🙂 x
I agree with you completely 🙂
Your photographs in black and white are looking fabulous.
