No one remembered
what she told him
and what remained bare
between the lines.
Beneath them
The ocean swayed
the last drop of dubiety.
Two hearts, one ocean
made silent vows,
then blended,
whipping the smiling
half-moon into
froths of unresolved hopes.

Beautiful
Gorgeous, Archita – one of my favorites of yours. The images are so clear and so tightly woven together. It all just works. Lovely. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
That’s so nice to hear, Christine. Thank you very much for the prompt, visit and comment. 🙂
The image I’m left with is lines of sand next to the nebulous ocean and a smiling moon hanging above. A beautiful piece, Archita.

The last lines are spectacularly sad…
So nice to see someone pointing that out. I lost my grandfather on weekend and while writing a fiction on Sunday night all my thoughts were around death, love, life and death.
