Things I like

Karl the fog

“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” ~Helen Keller

  1. A big window. Because reality is brighter than virtual world, and more amusing than reality TV.

  2. The word Awesome. Because it has magic. Because it lights up too many sad eyes.

  3. Karl the fog, especially when he ignores the Golden Gate Bridge and comes after the tall towers in the city.

  4. Petrichor, and how strangely it evokes nostalgia.

  5. The secret words my favorite people use to continue poop-talks.

  6. The fact that there exist Woody Allen movies and Tarantino movies in the same good world.

  7. Unplanned writing, and the relief afterward.

  8. People who can dance without any music.

  9. The morning sun after a rainy week.

  10. A session with Pacific Ocean.

  11. My mom’s fish in banana leaf, after a day of cooking.

“Things I like” is a small list I made to remind myself of all the good things this world offers. I can say that I enjoyed writing this, arranging and rearranging the snippets. I like little things more. So it was really tough to conclude within eleven points.
Someone once said, “Life is a book and I have a hundred pages left open.”  That means, this list is going to change, like everything else, after I read another fifty pages.

What will you include in your own list? Do you like big windows, unplanned writing, and Karl the fog?

  1. Karl the fog, morning sun after a cloudy day, unplanned writing- I like them too. Plus, I LOVED your phenomenal list. They’re going to stay right?

So what do you think?
