Mostly when I look back and fall upon a particular memory where I was making a fool of myself, obviously I didn’t know that then as I was usually petrified or just dying of a combination of fear, guilt and/or shame.
Like this one time my roommates and I went to Nainital ( a hill station in India) and were feeling particularly adventurous, so, we decided to check out a farm. The farm belonged to an Army Colonel and was obviously guarded by two German Shepherds( nuff said).
We had to run a marathon to come out unscathed, unscratched and more importantly un attacked.
I am now way older and more experienced to know better than to go about trespassing in private property, but I still laugh like a hyena thinking about that ‘fateful’ day.
