Oh, I was praying for an easy prompt today( down with an evil cold) and what could be easier than this.
I have loved cats since I was a toddler, our ancestral home had a shelter in our backyard for cats going in labor ( pretty sure that wasn’t the idea behind the space, but somehow the cats always found their way in).
The cats were never allowed in our home and I always dreamed of a day when I could adopt a cat .
I can come up with several reasons behind by affection towards these furry gremlins- their quirks, the spark in their eyes, their infinite capacity for food just to name a few, but I firmly believe that I was ordained by the creators to like cats. Only that could explain my fixation.
