Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.
As a true human, I miss things that are beyond my reach, control or reason.
So, I will have to go with Monsoons. The sweet smell of rain hitting parched earth. The droplets washing away dirt from the leaves while the plants engage in a happy sway. The playful wind reaching you with smile not slander.
North India is suffering from the worst kind of heatwave with day temperatures reaching 52°C (126°F). It is unbearably hot, the kind that makes you want to stay forever in an ice bath.
Only yesterday, I read a news article stating that it will take another thirty days for monsoons to reach us here, and it feels like forever.
So, definitely the rains.
