If wishes were granted….

Daily writing prompt
If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

I will meet a couple of people, Indian as well as International.

Starting with the Indian Cricket team- we recently won the T20 World Cup and Cricket has been an acquired taste for me, I am more into Football, but I was glued to the screen as we snatched away the World Cup from the equally poised South Africa. The whole country went into the throes of glee, people(mostly men) were celebrating on the streets, housing societies were distributing sweets. I, who mostly don’t get affected much by cricket matches, was shrieking with joy too. I would invite the Indian Cricket Team to ask how did it feel as the moment of our win arrived, what were they feeling. How do they function so well under pressure.

I would move on to greet the former British Prime Minister’s wife, Akshata Murthy and lean in to hear about the brilliant strategy under which she wore the Zebra dress- a perfect smokescreen for the couple to exit.

I would then somewhat smugly greet Cristiano ( you would be smug too if you knew what he did) and ask him what does exiting the UEFA without winning the cup mean to him( while trying very hard not to grin).

These are the top three people/group I would definitely want to meet.

Before you leave, let me share a sneak peek of my upcoming projects. One is a three-part horror series about Anita and her surreal life—an exploration of fear and the unknown. The other is my third quarterly booklist, featuring the most anticipated quarterly book releases of 2024. Both are set to be released tomorrow, so stay tuned and continue to meet legendary people in your dream or perhaps in a meme!
