List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.
Money isn’t the first thing that appeals to me in a job, it is the potential it carries in competing and eventually beating my desire to do nothing.
However, if a prospect with a reasonably well paycheck but questionable potential presents itself, I do consider that as well.
After all, the ability to pay your bills , your rent and your passion is a comparable desire in itself.
Now that my true self is presented above, we can jump to the interesting bit..

What are those three jobs I’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter
- Being a Cat sitter- Imagine spending time with multiple cats in a day, all thirty days a month. It’s said that no two cats are similar, and if you were to consider their nine lives , I believe cat population will surpass human’s. Spending time with a cat, any cat is a privilege and requires certain sacrifices ( including your blood depending on the cat’s temperament). Though once they get to know you & fed, most will be docile little fluff pillows. I would be a willing servant of all the cats I would be sitting for.
- Being a Librarian- I have always had a very poeticized perception of Librarians, thanks to Books & Cinema. I used to believe Librarians had an enchanted hideaway tucked away behind an old, dusty book. My naive view shattered when I learned how much administrative work librarians actually do. I am not sure if Librarians are paid well in India, but a rudimentary search tells me they aren’t. So, there goes that dream.
- Being a Novelist- I am working on (still) my first draft and this exercise has granted me limitless respect for full time novelists. It is of course virtues like patience, grit, resolve, skill and ingenuity but more importantly, it’s the every day battle with your plot & your characters that you have to win to even write 500 words. I think this novel may very well be my maiden and my crone.
