24-hour long lifetimes

Day 1

So, I wasn’t feeling my best for a little while. Had been up contemplating the meaning of life and death and everything in between.

Suddenly, yesterday I had an epiphany while I was in the shower about sleep being a representation of death.

I started to wonder more about it and gasped audibly at the similarities between sleep and death. What if every day that we live is a new life, separated by the sleep cycles which are manifestations of death, occurring twenty-four hours apart?

Everyday is a new day, we have grown up hearing. What if that’s indeed true!

What if we are like Mayflies, living brief cycles, only to restart every morning? This realization has sparked something inside me. I feel lighter, more purposeful, as if the missing piece of a puzzle has finally fallen into place ( sorry if this comes across as too poetic).

Despite living in Delhi’s current gloom (nothing but greys here), my mental blues seem to have dissipated.

So, in the wake of this realization, I have decided to share about an interesting highlight from my day, which I would dutifully record & share for the next hundred days.

Starting with today i.e Day 01: I did a dipstick research on my fitness brand which would help us improve our social media presence. I know, nothing really phenomenal in the way of announcing it on the world wide internet, but anything that helps me improve my life while our Earth twirls on its axis will be defined as growth.

Here’s to growth, mindfulness, and seizing the most of our 24-hour lifetimes.
