July Writing Challenge-Day 14
Some days are just hard!
Your morning starts way earlier than planned, and you have been engrossed in multiple things throughout the day and better part of the evening.
You have a severe headache and you decide to watch a prequel to a rom-com you watched just the other day. And the movie is underwhelming, to say the least. Although it was released two decades back, your expectations were sky high because of everyone praising it to the hilt.
The songs are great, but the acting sucks, even of your favorites.
Your headache has peaked, you are irritable and there is a powercut.
Then you hear a ‘meow’ and spot your cat belly-up, sleeping blissfully in a corner and life is somehow better.
