Describe one habit that brings you joy.
…..and with this, we start our August Writing Challenge
I decided to not let August slip away, but realized, it’s already the third. The first Sunday of August is about to be over……lament!
But I believe I’m having a good August, there’s plenty of sunshine and rain and the plants are loving it.
Taking a walk after meals is one thing I have been doing dedicatedly for the better part of July, and will continue to do. It really helps with keeping the energy up. I always thought one hour of workout is enough, but no, walking after meals helps with blood sugar management. Since I found out about my Insulin resistance, I have been really walking religiously.
Another habit I introduced is eating dinner before 7 pm. Somedays I do get hunger pangs around 10 pm, but black tea helps with that. I’ve noticed, I sleep better, have fewer GERD episodes & interrupted sleep cycles.
Running and workouts are an integral part of my day, but the one change I habit I want to reintroduce is writing early in the morning.
This would be the habit I need to be chasing this month.
Another thing that will make a comeback would be the Quarterly Book Reviews, with the first coming out this month.
