The week I’m currently on, because I’m working on a book list for feminists! And, instead of the books I have shortlisted, I’m fascinated by the authors of those books and the revolutionary lives they lead or led.
It’s a pity that women ( and men) who choose lives unconventional are called rebels and anarchists and what not. Is it because of fear of the unknown, or even dislike that which makes society deeply uncomfortable with people leading different realities. Guess this is a conflict as old as time.
So, anyway, I’ve been reading about them, their lives and their experiences that manifested the books they’ve written- and what books they are- forcing you to think, dwell, and act!
Why else is this week an ideal week?
Let’s see- It started of well with no rain and bright blue skies, loads of research & analysis work around issues that interest me, progressive overload week, some travel over the weekend and the arrival of autumn/fall. There’s that woody- earthy smell in the air!
